I had 20+ penpals back in the 80's in school. Have lost touch with them though. I had ones from Canada, Australia, Trinidad, Greece, Kuala Lampur (sp.?), and the USA to name a few.

I have one, and we have been pen-pals for the last mmm 3 years roughly. It's great to be able to learn about other places and share each others lives as friends. When I was twelve I had gotten really heavy into the pen-pal situation and had about 6 at the same time. Lives of course move on and we have lost touch but I have been able to keep this one pen-pal and hopefully we will be life long friends.
