TERMITES CAN LITERALLY DESTROY A HOME IN THREE
YEARS. THAT IS IN REFERANCE TO SUBFLOORING AND
FOUNDATION PLATES/BEAMS/STRUCTURE.
EATS THE HOME OFF IT'S FOUNDATION. TERMITES EAT 24/7 AND LEFT UNCHECKED WITH RIGHT MOISTURE AND CONDITIONS THEY JUST MULTIPLE IN COLONIES AND ARE THE PERFECT DESTRUCTION MACHINE.

Do not buy a house that has evidence of termite damage!! If you already live in the place, I suggest you call an exterminator b/c you want to kill all of them ASAP. This is also important if you want to sell your house anytime soon; if there are termites or evidence of termites no one will buy ur house!

What I have read, is that it will take them longer than you will live to destroy a house! But over several years they can do a lot of damage to floorboards and window frames and walls that will later need to be repaired.

It depends on how hungry they are. If you start hearing creeking noises pack your bag quick or have a free funeral.
