Any single parents who are students and work full time ?

Question

I am a single parent of three (9,8, and 2), and have a full time and part time job. How do you balance family, responsibilities, and homework? Is there something I am missing that can make life a bit easier unitl I graduate in december and go on to get a a masters. Got suggestions, or useful tips, tricks?

I am a newlywed, but I was very recently a single parent. Working, completing my degree. I have only one child but it was and still is hard. As far as making sure that they have balanced meals. I took one day out of the week and bought one of those foodsavers. I would cook for the week, breakfast, lunch and dinner. I would freeze it and it could be popped in the microwave. I tried to do all my homework on three days of the week and get at least one day out of two weeks for myself. Even if it was for just 6 hours. I hope that it helps but it is hard. I went to all online in the end. I made sure that the school was accredited and my degree would be recognized in all walks. It is still time consuming, but I can be home, even if I only get a few hours of sleep.

I have a 3 yr old, I work and go to school part time I have online as well as in class, and I'm also an artist that works on commission. At the moment I'm writing short strories and have collaborated with a friend to work on a comic, all correspondence is via internet.
I just deal with whatever comes up. I have a set schedule that only changes every three months with my classes. I work in IT in a librabry, my job isn't that hard so I get in writing while I'm there. I paint and draw at night when I get home, I give my daughter a brush, some watercolors and crayons and let her use the scrap paper I have lying around... Sometimes I wind down by being online...
But I don't write, go to classes, or paint every night.
