wow,,any guy who takes me to the mall would be owned by me,I'd make you look at purses with me for hours

I had a guy ask me once what would impress me more..if he took me to dinner at a 5-star restaurant or if he took me to McDonalds and everyone treated him (and me) like royalty. I told him, "Neither one. Those aren't the things that impress me".
Frankly, if you were the right guy, the food court at Target would probably be enough because she would have found "you" enough to compensate for the environment.
However, few people can compensate for that low-end of a first date, so I'd suggest you work on raising the bar on where you take women on a first date, and perhaps work on you a little.

I had a date once who took me through the drive-up of Burger King (and only got a soda). We have been married for 5 years now and it is one of our best inside jokes. So, I don't think it was Target, dude, maybe she just was not that into you.

well, target isnt exactly romantic. the movies or bowling or even just sitting @ ur house would have been fine.target is not a date place.
