What the pros's and con's are of doing it this way. You choose a method of fixing it. You make an attempt to fix it. If that doesn't work you do the same process except in the end you do not choose the same solution to your problem that needs to be fixed. Well this process of fixing can apply to probably any problem that needs fixing.

If it's loose and needs to be tighter, duct tape or crazy glue. If it's tight and needs to be looser, WD-40. Those three things will fix *anything*!

If it is plastic, I use tape.
If it is steel, I braze or weld it.
If it is wood or stone base then I replace it.
If it is some type of metal other then Iron base then I will make a new one or order it.
