Absolutely not. If they grow up and chose to be in beauty pageant then it's ok. But the parents are doing it for themselves instead of their children. Let them live their childhood without worrying some sicko will see them. Besides, haven't seen a child who wasn't beautiful.

Let children be childish. Even fancy dress competition is something more for a child aged 4-6 to do. If it is for 10-12 years they will have the maturity to understand the implications.
Similarly for beauty pageants also, there is an appropriate age.

Story telling is a good competition for children of any age, especially 4-8. They will achieve more creativity and overall growth.

I say no, they are too young to be judged like adults. Besides I find adults beautiful, not children. Maybe a teen pagent will work but definately not child.

No, because that puts too much pressure on the kid. That is not healthy for them psychologically.
