A friend of mine is best frined with this other girl and hangs around her alot. I thought that she might be nice and wanted to be the girl's friend, but I'm to shy to come up and say I want to be their friend so I ended seeming like I'm a loner not wanting any friends. And I'm scared they would laugh at my face about it. what should I do?

If you want others to see that you're happening, you have to convince yourself first.

Be more confident. If they laugh in your face, then they aren't worth having as friends. Remember, let yourself go and just open up to people! Pretend you are in a movie and you have to act like an outgoing person. I've done that before and found that it helps.

Don't go up to her and say "do you want to be my friend?" She'd probably look at you funny. Make small talk with her and see where that goes. If she rejects your advances towards friendship, then don't fret; she's probably not worth it.

well go with ur friend when ur friend goes to c the girl he is friends with. start chatting with her, even if u dont chat just be with them and eventually try to join in with their descussion. it takes time to become a friend so dont rush things. if she is worth being friends with u will become her friend *keep telling urself that* hope this helps!
