Well actually, there is an all black boys school in the united states. I wanna say it's in New York (Harlem), but I'm not sure. It opened some time last year. Go here, http://www.rootsweb.com/~dcgenweb/body_education.html. It just talks about schools that were for particular ethnic backgrounds.

another note..there is a lot more "visible debate" going on when it comes to applications. Many schools accept students so as to meet their diversity quota. There was a white student, top of his class in high school, but the schools he applied to & wanted to go to didn't accept him, yet other minority students were accecpted. On the flip side, a black student applied to a HBCU, had the grades and all, yet that individual was rejected and a white student was accepted.

As a higher education achiever, that isn't right and it's quite insulting. But it will be a long time before schools change their ways. Accept someone because they are good students and want an education, not because of diversity quotas.

i also wonder why we segregate public restrooms ^^

anyhow, i think you already noe the answer to this q; separating schools by gender does not create sexism; but the opposite is true... why do you think southern whites fought so so hard to keep the jim crow laws in place?

besides, america's most elite schools are mostly white anyway, so take heart, white racists

Very good point, at this rate, there's very little difference to communism, one cannot have your own cultural grouping, people are scared it's not PC enough and too secular. They just don't get that yes, people are different, and don't realise that that's OK.

There are Black colleges and there is a Hmong school right by my house.

If you wanted to go to an all-white school, just go to a rich, suburban school.
