can anyone describe to me pregnancy pains felt in early pregnancy? also if anyone can describe to me ovarian cyst pains? are they similar?

my g/f is feeling pains in her lower back that run down to her left leg sometimes she also feels pains in her abdomen mostly in the left near her rib cage and on the right side also near her rib cage, she feels pressure as though something is pushing on her rib cage from the inside, she is constipated too, and urinating constanly. ovarian cyst run in the family.

we have only had an intercourse once, we used a condom, and it was during her period, it was her first time, so i guess she is nervous because of this, but is been almost 2 months and she still thinks she's preg,

the doc gave her 2 urine test both neg. and has sent her for x-rays of bladder, kidney and urinary tract also ultrasound for cyst.

how can i calm her down because thinking she is pregnant is making her deppresed?

Ok the first part, pain in lower back that runs down her left leg sound like her Sciatic nerve is pinched. That can be VERY painful, but is very common and nothing can be done for it. I have that pain all the time. now the pushing on her rib cage and being constipated sounds like gas. Gas pains can reach your chest cavity and be very painful. If she has had two negative test and you have only had sex once then chances are she is not pregnant. Hope you find some relief soon.

Ovarian cysts do feel like an ache or sharp pain on one side, down very low. My ribcage never really hurt but as the cyst swelled, it did make areas around the cyst ache. Early pregnancy shouldn't "hurt" so to speak. Usually, you just feel a little crampy, like before you get your period. If the doctor performed two pregnancy tests and both were negative, chances are good that this is the case. But, ovarian cysts are painful. Urinary tract infections are also painful.

first off if she had an x ray while prego there a very high chance she will have a miscarriage. x-rays are a no no while prego.9/10 baby's are still born or u miss carry and her doctor would not done an xray if he thought in a million years that she was prego.that would be his *ss.So chill out .let her know that it is very unlikely with 2 test shes expecting.

the pains your describing sounds like gas.
take a lite laxative.
my sister pos and the symptoms are close have her doc do an ultra sound...that will be a tell all for both baby and cyst

If the doctor has given her a urine test and it came back negitive and shes still worried maybe she should ask for a blood test, they are more accurate. Other than an ovarian cyst it could be her gallbladder. Worrying about being pregnant doesnt help anything, infact worrying about a cyst doesnt help either. She needs to calm down and maybe take a warm bath or something to relax.

I would highly doubt that she is pregnant. If the doctor didn't find anything then she doesn't have anything to worry about right now. She really isn't pregnant I would say since they did tests. Sometimes doctors don't find out whats wrong for a while explaining the pains in her back and stuff. I think that she just needs to worry about the cyst if they run in the family, but it could also be in her head too if shes worried. Just be there for her and wait until shes ready for sex again
Best of luck!

Ask for a blood test it is 100% accurate, If she is stressed then this could be the reason why she is not getting her periods, tell her to relax, Ovarian cyst are very painful, it feels like a shooting pain that goes into one leg or the other, (had 2 emergency surgeries b/c of ovarion cyst), She needs to relax.

the pain in her lower back that runs down her leg is her sciatic nerve that is bothering her...and as far as the pressure near her rib cage, constipation and urinating..that could be any number of things it sounds almost like IBS...as far as her being pregnant if the tests came out negative then she isn't ...the baby doesn't start putting pressure on your ribs until about your 6th month or until they are big enough to reach the ribs with their little legs =) Hope this helps

usually pregnancy feels the same as when you are going to start your period. Plus nausea, not serious pains though

Also, you don't feel any movement from the baby for a few months and even then it is little flutters, not pressure until about 7 months.
The chances of getting pregnant the first time are very slim and on her period more slim and with a condom, i think very close to impossible. But continue checking into this, in case of other problems.

symptoms vary but may include the following: painless swelling the the lower abdomen that feels firm to touch, pain during sexual intercourse, pelvic pain, low back pain, or an acute colicky abdominal pain.
