I wish I could have been part of the group of people at the turn of the 20th century who were making all those discoveries about the structure of the atom ... it must have been wonderful to be part of that.

I'd say the early to mid 1800's... not to live there (I wouldn't make it without all the modern day conveniences!), but I would like to see firsthand how people lived. I'm obsessed with my family geneology, and it was be awesome to be able to see it all myself.
