A Nightmare On Elm Street series! Yes, the first would be my favorite, but I'd have to say all of them have a place up there for me. It's awesome how Wes Craven created a sense of fear in the audience with Freddy Kruger, but yet at the same time they could laugh at his antics.

No horror movie has ever scared you but it means your suppose to be horrified not scared so a good one for me would be 'Dumplings' it is a film along with 2 other films on the DVD "The 3 Extremes".It also really shows how the world is too if you think about it you should watch it. I also liked Session 9 and Salo(true story{kind of} and very disturbing}. Go to IMDB.com too look up some movies. I also liked 'Puppet Master' all of them, I don't like dolls or puppets especially those.

Check out 'The Changeling' with George C. Scott. It's a creepy old movie from the 70's, but it's good because it seems like it could really happen. That, and it isn't your typical bloody, chainsaw type of horror flick.
It scared the pants off of me and I'm a tough guy.
You know, except when I scream like a girl during 'The Changling."

"The Eye"
That film still creeps me out no matter how many times i watched it. The way the scenes were made with the "ghosts" and the style of the film was just awsome..
Whats creepy about that movie the most is how you feel like your actually inside of the movie..

I would have to agree with Jester, The Exorcists. I have the special addition where she does the spider walk down the stairs, awesome.

I like "the shining" the one with Jack Nicholson.
It's more of a thriller because of the action.
