How can I get my business running using no money at all?

I just started a computer repair business. I created a webpage also at http://clix.to/repair. I however can't find a way to advertise my business with no money? Please help!

I need help getting my business started. I have a website at http://clix.to/repair. Please check it out because I need some suggestions on how to make my website more user friendly. Also I need to know how I can get people to find my site, or hear about my business.

A few free resources – check out the sources box for links:

1) Create a blog pertaining to your field

2) Use Yahoo! Local & Yahoo! Groups – Be sure to read the TOS for each one!

3) Write articles pertaining to your field and/or expertise.

4) Advertise on Craiglist

Also, consider signing up for an affiliate program. These programs enable you to advertise on other's sites (your affiliates) and once a sale is made to you, your affiliates & the program are paid a commission.

Start out by doing some off-line advertising. Here are some ideas:

1) Get some inexpensive colour leaflets made up about your service. Post leaflets on all public bulletin boards.

2) Send a news release to your local paper announcing the opening of your business, exactly what you offer, how to contact you. With every consultation, give a free computer security test, etc.

3) Visit as many offices in your area as you can and talk to the manager or outsourcing department. Bring a letter introducing yourself and your leaflet to give to them.

4) Get three references that new clients can call to ask about you. (Have friends and family give these references in the beginning).

5) Contact a local charity and offer to do a free computer security check on all their machines. Contact the newspaper and radio stations and let them know you are doing this.

Word of mouth is the best advertising business .However you must have capitol to start a business if you cannot spare a mere 30 bucks for advertising. what will you do if you screw up a computer your working on lets say you spill your coffee on there board while working on it cause you was reaching for the last donut when your over weight sister came into the room .

First be a member like (www.friendster.com) it will help you to announce your business. find a people same in your place and add them as your friend.Next build own your site, try this at (www.multiply.com or www.geocities.com) Or try to have a promo, like sell them a software not just repair,after that try to teach them additional information about computer, like anti virus, You know its really feel good to help them and the same you have money.

They do run reliable organizations, normally as fronts for his or her crook earnings, and for extra money. But so long as there's cash to be made illegally, any individual will do it.
