When you cook, you need to measure how much of each ingredient you use.
When you buy things from a store, you need to estimate how much money you are going to have to pay and add tax.
When you go out to eat, you need you calculate the tip.
When you play a sport, you need to add the total points.
When taking a test, you use math to estimate how much time you have and how much time you can spend on each question.

When you do any shopping, you need to calculate the costs to make sure you have enough money. Going out to eat and calculating a 15% tip. When you cook, you use alot of fractions, for example when your doubling recipes,Balancing your check book, When you have kids, you divide things equally between them....
