My ex bought me a beautiful gold necklace with a ruby in the middle. It was gorgeous but also a final attempt to persuade me to stay with him. How insulting.
One time I had a round trip to Cancun paid for me. I never went though cause i wasn't really into the guy

The most expensive thing a guy has bought me was a trip to Jamaica all expenses paid. Spending money and everything. But other guys that did not have money like him gave me.. one gave a used car from the auction for $500. Then one gave a diamond and 14k gold bracelet and matching earrings, and this poor guy but nice personality gave me a used phone which he noticed what I needed then got it without telling me.. Even though it was old, the thought counted and I appreciated that the most out of them all.

Ok, the most expensive thing a boyfriend can buy his girlfriend depends on his budget. If your a millionaire you can buy her an island. If your a student you can buy her lunch.
Money aside, material things shouldn't be able to buy love - then again I wouldn't know, my partner stiffs me on presents with the old "love' trick! lol. :-)

a brand new car to drive to the location of an airport and fly down south then go on a 14 day cruise and in the suite have diamond jewellry everywhere....that sounds like one pretty expensive gift to me, an ALL inclusive vacation

My ex-boyfriend purchased me a beautiful 3 stone love you today tomorrow and everyday after or something like that. But it's not the money that matters to me in a gift it is if they can be there for you when you need them, I was in a terrible car accident and he wasn't there for me and I broke up with him and I gave that necklace to my brother to give to his new bride and not tell her where he got it from. She was so happy and it made my day to see her face light up to think he got her such a gift and only me and my brother know the truth! It is out of my life just like him and that is all that matters, he was the love of my life and it hurt like hell but I will get over it, life goes on!
