Ok yea this happens too, it may show the the button were you set it to, so like persay you put 5 potions there, you may have used up all of them, it may be shaded grey, which means ur out of stock of those potions, check back on your stock if thats not the problem then im not sure what is...

Are you using that auto-recharge thing? That could be your problem. If you run out, the letters will be shaded in. Or, maybe you have your items set to the wrong button.

did u check soras items when u get the other items probablly thats why u cant use it
