Just curious. I just found out that some of my classmates who are white and female admitted to being scared of black men. If so, w/o being nasty can you say why?

It's all about how the little white girls are brought up. They always hear their parents talking about it, and they are brainwashed in the process...and they are intrigued by Black men. When they indeed get with a brotha, and it gets back to their parents, most of them claim they were raped, just to save face...I love my Black men--I'm in fact engaged to one.
And this BS above me is way too long...

My previous to posters are idiots......why is it you would be apprehensive about a black man because you saw one do a bad thing.......look at all the serial killers in the world...look at all the perverts on to catch a predator(nbc show)...look at all the school massacre school shootings over the past 10 years...look at your president........seeing all of this...why is it now that when you see a white guy you are no apprehensive......when if you think about it...black people would not be here in the first place if your ancestors did not inslave an entire continent full of people , rip their families apart and bring them to america......hmmmmmmmmmmm....and as my closing statement..when was the last time you saw a native american walkin down the street..hmmmmmmm...apprehensive about black men.....thug or not..you should fear your own people it seems to me.

Because there's a stigma behind the color black, I suppose. Black= dark, scary, dreary, everything bad.
So I guess black people look scary to them because they have darker skin.
I believe this contributed to the ridiculous stereotype that black men are inherently dangerous.
Look at what happened to the Native Americans...the Jews...massacres! And they were not done by black men!

I am scared of SOME black men because I watched one put a gun to a persons head while her was robbing a store. That was one of the worst moments of my life. If a black man looks unkempt and dresses like a thug then I am scared of him because that is how the guy who robbed the store looked and they never caught him. But if a see a black man who takes pride in his appearance and who carries himself in a respectful way then I am totally okay. I am not racist at all, I am just afraid of running into that man again.

Black men are wonderful. The media portrays them as drug dealers, cheaters and thugs and that's not true. They never show them as educated, good to their women and families and caring. I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm engaged to one so I know. BUT on the other hand, I doubt black men are losing sleep because white girls are afraid of them. That's a lie anyways. White girls are always running up behind them. Don't let your friends fool you.

i love black men. the ones i know aren't the cliches you see on cable tv. hell, i love people!
people tend to go off of the stereotypes, but if they knew better they'd realize that every race has positive and negative people in them.

i do no longer think of so. some easily do no longer locate the females desirable. you are going to be able to think of they could locate them desirable via fact they could seem stable in accordance to society's standards, yet attractiveness is interior the attention of the beholder.

I know there are..... just like me, as white men used to scare me (for many reasons) thats until I met my bf of course :)
that has reduced significantly.... but I still have my apprehensions.
