ok well everyone here is wrong they did win it three times in a row, pumas won a bicampeonato in the the apertura/ clausura, version of the mexican league, but america and necaxa won tricampeonatos before the short tournments were implemented. america did it in the 83-84, 84-85, and 85-86 season. Learn your soccer history before you answer.

Wikipedia says something different, you might want to check those stats, btw Chivas won 4 in a row and 7 titles in 8 years in the sixty's which is were the name "campeonisimo" came from

so America and Necaxa arent the only teams to win 3 or more titles in a row.

No, because Pumas is the only team to get the "Bicampeonato" in Mexico.
