my anti-virus scanner detected some viruses on my computer.what do i do?how do i get it out?i dont really know anything about computers.please help.

i have the avg free edition.they are in the quarentine but it wont let me delete it.is there any other way to get it out?or do i just leave it in there?is anything gonna happen if i leave it there?

okay,my anti-virus just finished scanning everything right now but the 2 virus i got it didnt go in the quarantine virus vault.nor did it heal.where is it?and what do i do now?i am so clueless as to what to do.i dont know **** about computers.helllpppppp.

Download, install and update A² (a-squared) free - A2 - a Freeware Anti-Trojan, Anti-Worm, Anti-Dialer and Anti-Spyware (Anti-Malware) Software = http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/download .
then shut down your pc and then restart it in SAFE MODE if possible = http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2001052409420406?OpenDocument&src=sec_doc_nam
and then run the scan(s) and follow directions for healing any/all infections found, then Disable system restore = http://vil.nai.com/vil/SystemHelpDocs/DisableSysRestore.htm , then shut down your pc, and then restart your pc, and then re-enable system restore.

I have AVG, but a different version. Your quarantine section might be called a Virus Vault. When you're looking at your quarantine section, look for different words, such as Action. This is usually at the top. Click on it, and it should give you options, such as Delete, or Remove. By clicking on this, your quarantined items will be deleted. As long as it's quarantined, it can't hurt your computer.

Which anti-virus program are you using?It should automatically put them in quarantine and you can delete them from there.You can run Trend Micro Housecall(just do a search...its free)and when it finishes it will ask if you want to delete everything.
