panic! at the disco OR green day?

Green Day circa 1989 to 1994.

It's hard to compare the two- Panic! has only been around a short time, and has only one album out; however that album is excellent, and the band members are very young- they have plenty of time to add to that. Green Day has a large body of work which covers a lot and is varied. I personnally enjoy both- I really love Panic's lyrics, and I like every one of their songs, while I have enormous respect for Green Day's ability to return with fresh music time and time again. I think time will tell which band I prefer- giving Panc! a chance to come up with a larger set of music, and see which direction they go with it. Music taste is based on opinion, so I would never say one is better; Green Day is more experienced at the moment, and I've heard they give better live performances, but Panic! is fantastic in their use of unusual instruments and arrangements, and their creativity is apparent.

I prefer Panic! at the disco. Even though there performances are a bit creepy, they are still better. Green Day just seems too much like a stereotype rock band, and has no real personality.

I personally dont like either anymore. Panic at the Disco is getting boring with the same beats and Green Day has just gotten old

i think panic at the disco has great hits but green day has been around longer and always has good songs!

panic! but you shouldn't compare the two. obviously, most people will choose green day since they had been in the muisc business for years now. panic, just like two years.
