Well, technically the British troops should not have been in their territory. So...I don't blame them for getting captured. Not that I don't support Britian or anything, and I sure as hell don't support Iran, but we would do the same thing if it happened to us...right?

Please...I implore you, we do not need another war right now.

President Bush has so completely squandered whatever illusion of moral authority the US had before his criminal war with Iraq that trying to use said moral authority to free the British prisoners will likely prove about as effective as trying to use Confederate currency to pay an electric bill.

I don't believe Bush has any morality!

He isn't looking to free the 15 British soldiers! It's in Bush's self interest for the UK to use this as a pre-text for war with Iran!
Bush has been trying fiercely to figure out how to get Iran to make the move to war!
Look at the evidence in just the last month or so!
Pointing fingers at Iran backing insurgents---telling Americans and the world that Iran solely is aiding insurgents when we know that Saudi Arabia is also backing insurgents that are attacking US and coalition forces!!!!

This is a new Century! Information gets to people 1,000,000 times faster than in the past and people are paying close attention like at no other time in history!

I think Iran was always the target!
Iraq and Afghanistan are the US's base of operations against Iran!

Because he just made a deal with Iran to keep the peace and that means Iran does'nt supply the terriorists anymore and our coalition forces stopped seria from doing the same. The rope is tightening on the terriorists from our troops. He recently sent a piece of a fleet to Iranian waters.

Well it could be because since the Iraq war, the United States doesn't have much moral authority. When you lie about a war cuase in order to destroy an entire nation, and drag your allies into it.... people tend not to trust you.... ya that whole "trust" thing is a problem isn't it?

Those Brits were tresspassing in Iranian waters, and therefore deserved what they got. I'd love to see Britain and the United STates do something... they're so caught up in Iraq right now another war would be disastrous.

Because the Iranian zealots don't believe anyone has any moral authority, except them. And I'm not referring to the Iranian people. I'm referring to the leadership that they're forced to follow under that Theocracy. And Britain is our ally in Iraq. So what has happened is our problem as well as Britains.

Same reason Britain didn't do squat to free our hostages in 1979. Not our problem. And Tony Blair is being a big panty-waste. Why didn't the Brits "light the Iranians up" as soon as they showed up? Is it more rules of engagement BS?

It's a freakin WAR. Fight it like a war. Fight to win. Win decisively. The camel jocks don't have rules of engagement, so why should we?
