I would say a long hug.... when I first read your question I immediatly though "love" and since love goes along with hugging then that would be my answer.
I also really love snail mail. My best friend from high school and I chat constantly on yahoo messenger but also send each other snail mail once every couple of months without telling the other it's in the mail. It's a good feeling when it arrives unexpectidly.

When I read the first part of your question my immediate thought was the feeling of relief is the best feeling in the world.
There are many types of relief but in general the release of tension is the best feeling in the world.
