There's only one way, and that's:
1. Refrain from putting excess carbon dixoide into the atmosphere; i.e. refrain from burning large amounts of fossil fuels.

If you want to add to that, you can:
2. Refrain from deforesting forested areas, especially tropical rain forests.

If you want to be constructive:
3. Plant more vegetation in areas in which it can grow. This can include reforesting. Sensible forestry practices, planting and harvesting, can "fix" carbon as wood.

If everyone stopped breathing, it would reduce the use of oxygen AND also reduce the production of CO2.
