i'm getting my period soon but im in 5 grade so how do i bring a pad to the bathroom without my friends making fun of me and i dont know ho to so help

I was 11 when I got my period. I wanted to be a boy because I thought everyone would know that I was on my period. I know how you are feeling right now. I didn't want anyone to know that I was on my period or that I had to change my pad at school. It was a dreadful feeling.
I got a purse with a long strap that was just big enough to carry a couple of pads in. I carried it inside my bookbag, but when I went to the bathroom I took it with me, always, no matter if I was on my period or not. That way, no one knew what I had in my purse (you could keep some lip gloss in there as well if you want). You're becoming a woman, and we all carry purses.
If you don't want to worry about carrying something extra at school, you could ask your mom to get you some always brand pads. They have some super small maxi pads that are folded into thirds and covered with a little plastic on the tape. They fit easily into your jeans pockets. You could put one or two in a pocket before you left the house and no one would know they were in there. That way when you went to the restroom to change your pad, it's right there in your pocket. The plastic covering also doubles as a wrap for your old pad.

if you have a friend that wont laugh at you or tell anybody like a best friend just tell that person and ask her to go to the bathroom with you and turn on the dryer. you could also pretend that there something in the toilet before using it and while it makes noise unwrap your pad. when you bring it to the washroom you could hide it in a pocket or bring a carrying purse that holds your makeup or just your pads or something. If your worried about your friends making fun of you just tell them to leave you alone because eventually they are going to get it and if they do make fun of you just tell them well now i'm more mature than you. Plus if they were your real friends...they wouldn't make fun of you......

lol this is funny bc i just started friday :] but anyway what i do is i have a little make-up case that is full of them. I already told my friends becase they could be going through it to. So why worry? If they aren't then they will go through it eventually. lol so get a little make-up case/bag and fill it up with flats or rolls (thats what i call it) and bring a jacket to school. you can put it in the pocket when your ready to go change it or put a new one on. or you can hold it in your hand while caring or having your jacket on. So don't worry. if they are your friends they WILL NOT make fun of you. oh and if they try to just say. HA I AM MORE DEVELOPED THEN YOU!! :] but in a friendly kidding way lol that is what me and my friends do :]

Take the wrapper off the pad before you go to school and stick the pad in your pocket or a little bag so that your friends won't hear you unwrapping the pad or see the pad. Hope that helps!

you don't necessarily have to care what they think..i got mine in the 6th grade and yea its kind of embarrassing to hide it from my class let alone the boys but its part of a young Lady's' body.. and they're going to get it soon ..don't worry ..they should be more mature about it..its OK
when you know its that time of the month ..stash some pads in your bookbag..carry a little pocket purse and put your personal hygiene stuff in there. not everyone will know you'll have you period unless you blab..while some girls who use pads feel more confident wearing loose clothing,you can be sure no one wil notice.

#1. put the pads in ur locker,
#2 grab a pad on ur way 2 the bath room, put the pad in ur pocket thats what i do.
#3 if ur friends ask u r in the girls bath-room any way u dont need 2 worry.
i have the same prob. but i am almost 14 yr old

I think you should use a purse now that you have your period. I would also suggest not letting your friends look into your purse so they don't know. If they were really your friends they wouldn't make fun of you or make rumors or anything. I hope this helps!

Every girl gets a period in their life so there's nothing to worry about first tell the friends that laugh at you that they will to get a period later in their lives and they won't be laughing when other girls make fun of them. try to be sneeky and use kleenex. Good Luck!!! I hope your friends get to understand better what a period is.

sweetie you should never worry about what they say b/c guess what it will happen to them and they dont want to be made fun of either... everyone is a little worried about this though so I recomend getting a thin maxi or small tampoon that wil fit into your jeans pocket always carry an extra so when your friends arnt prepared and u will look soo cool
