I'm a big fan of T.R. Knight and ever since he came out, that's all anyone talks about when he's mentioned. "You know he's gay, right?" and "It's hard to watch a love scene with him now that I know." etc. Why does this matter? It's not like I have any less of a chance with him than I would if he were into women! He's a good actor and he's really cute. None of that changed when I found out his sexual preferences.

Good for you...you actually realize that the private life of celebrities has nothing to do with their talent. I agree with you...I don't care if someone is gay, if I like their voice

I don't care if an actor/actress is gay or straight. It doesn't change my oppinion of them not one bit. My favourite actor came out in 2003 after years of denying that he is a homosexual and it did not bother me one bit I already knew he was gay anyway I had read in a tabloid newspaper in 1991 that he was living with a man and they had been together for 17 years or something. That actor is Richard Chamberlain his coming out only made me respect him more because coming is a very brave thing to do some actors come out and their careers goes down the tubes and some like Ellen de generes and Elton John goes from strength to strength.

Whatever the sexual orientation of an actor or actress, what really counts is the talent to perform in whatever character he or she portrays on the tube or in the movies. It should not really matter if the person is gay or straight, black or jewish, hairless or has a brandy nose! We ought to have a lot of respect for all of them because they bring all of us so much joy through their entertainment.

You are right it does not matter! Some people are just so bigoted, that they let their own prejudices get in the way.

I guess I am guilty of it myself though, when an actor admits he is gay, I tend to like him better. I just wish Mika would come out of the closet (that is if he is, in fact gay) He is just so HOOOOOTTTTTTTTT.

Thats just it, he was good actor before you found out, does that make hima less actor now?? In fact I think it makes him a better one!!! People just cant seem to get past a lot of things, tell them just to watch the show, its there for entertainment value!!!

It might be shocking at first;but it's not a big deal to me. I'm not gay and I'm not homophobic towards others;I'm an open minded person that has more important worries then finding out who's gay and who's not.

No, it really doesn't have an influence on their talent or the way that they do their jobs. I personally could care less who is coming out at any given moment, and most of them are far from surprising.

It shouldn't matter you someone is sexual attracted to. I have a cousin who is considered straight and he fell in love with a man and it is the only man he is interested in. Love and attraction should be ones choice.
