The DS hands down for fun. The PSP is more if you want a MP3 player a web browser and a storage device in one. But that doesnt make it as much fun as the DS.

The DS is a fantastic little machine. The PSP's very nice, but the DS seems to take itself a bit less seriously, which can only be a good thing with a handheld console. It DOES need more games, though, and a lot more multiplayer fun. I'd be quite happy with more conversions from 8 and 16-bit games, too... so long as they're budget priced.

The DS Lite is a much better console, but suffers from the recurring Nintendo nightmare - not enough quality games. There are only four or five that I'd consider "must-buys".

The PSP, on the other hand, is typically Sony: loads and loads of mediocre games, generally poor gameplay and a very limited interface.

DS all the way!

It really depends on your perspective of the device.. I say that a PSP gives the DS a run for it's money
