When I was younger, I always formed closer bonds with the males around me than with females. I remember feeling more "secure" aroung other men in my pre-pubescent years - but never interpreted it as sexual attraction.
When I start going through puberty, I found that my "wet dreams" were always about men, never women. This is how I know that homosexuality is not a choice for me. If my first gay feelings were dreams, I had no concious control over them, and therefore I did not choose to be gay. It's who I am.

I didn't develop an interest in the opposite sex until like, grade 7 or 8. Don't know how old these grade levels are, sorry.

I developed an interest in the same sex when I was in grade 2, maybe earlier. That interest just grew stronger with time. =]

Well...I know I was walking.

However that in no way is supportive of paedophilia or children engaging in adult forms of sexual practice.

Fancying, being attracted, or drawn to, in a mysty warm fuzzy experience, is not about intercourse at this stage. It is in various degrees, about bonding, intemacy, fairy tales.

We talk a lot about how our bodies and minds grow. But we do not discus as much about how our experience of intemacey developes.

It needs time and nurturing to mature. Children should never be rushed, pushed, abused or exploited in any way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It is those things that mess us all up. The pague of child porne is a sickness. It is abuse and disrespect of the child, of all of us.

I know we are individuals, but I'm just saying...it is good to discuss it all in a respectful way.

Peace.

I was five years old. I had a crush on two different little boys. One was blond haired and the other was a brunette. They were in my kindergarten class. Bobby and Chauncey. Bobby was tough and hung with other boys. He wouldn't let me play in his hair while he shot marbles so I dropped him as a prospect for Chauncey. Chauncey liked to play with water bugs, and while I did like bugs myself, I drew the line at cockroaches and water bugs, where as Chauncey did not. So it was over between us as well and I was a free agent at that tender age.
Post Script:
Chauncey is now a doctor, an M.D. LOL!

Hmmm ... well, my first hetero feelings were WAY early, in preschool, ... but that was just me conforming to society. I didn't actually like anybody then, I just knew that I was supposed to like girls, so I imagined that I diod. My first REAL romantic feelings were for my 3rd grade teacher when I was 8. Loves,
