Two part question:
Michael Gambon or Richard Harris, and how old are you?

Richard Harris played Dumbledore in no. 1 and 2, and Michael Gambon from there on out. I prefer Richard Harris, mainly because there's an air to Dumbledore that suggest infallibility, and Harris carried that across with his soft but still commanding voice. Gambon didn't bother me so much until Goblet of Fire, where he out and out yelled at Harry, which Dumbledore would NEVER have done.
Oh well.

I preferred Richard Harris to be honest though I cannot pinpoint why, that's not to say that Michael Gambon isn't doing a good job, he just doesn't seem like Dumbledore to me as much as Richard did.

I liked Richard Harris and I am ashamed to say that I am 45. And Goblet of Fire is one HBO right now (again). Hubby is in the garageâ»

i don't know who is who but i can tell you that i like the first guy dang he was cool
i am 19 i've seen every movie and have read all the books
by the way the books are way better than the movies

The original fit the part of the wise, calm, all knowing headmaster Dumbledore was in the books.
This new one seems too comical and not as wise
