PRO-LIFE!!!!~*~

Here are my beliefs as well as www.abortionfacts.com beliefs.

I believe that the unborn child is human
I believe life begins at conception
I believe that abortion is not safe. It can cause the following:
Bladder Injury
Bowel Injury
Breast Cancer
Ectopic (Tubal) Pregnancy

I believe that abortion is a war on the unborn.
I believe that the Roe v. Wade decision, legalizing abortion on demand in America, was one of the most important and devastating Supreme Court decisions.
I believe that a constitutional amendment should be passed that gives equal protection to all living humans, including the unborn.
I believe that the violence inside and outside abortion clinics is morally wrong.
I believe that rape and incest are horrible crimes and should be punished, but I don't believe that a child conceived from either should be killed.
I do not believe that the government should fund abortions.
I do not believe that the government should fund Planned Parenthood - the largest national supplier of abortions
Being a religious person, I believe that the Bible backs up my views on abortion. I do not think people should be playing God when it comes to say it's not a life. The US is a country Under God (which does not mean a theocracy).

I'm here searching answers on "labor" & see your post. Abortion is wrong for the simple fact that it is murder! It's that simple. If you do enough research on abortion itself you will discover many things you probably don't know such as a 10 week embryo having increased heart rate as it is being "sucked out"...sad & disgusting. WE do NOT create life even as it seems that way. God does. Why should we get to end it. If God doesn't want it in the world he will take it out as he does through miscarriage. I'm a nurse, a single mother of 2 little girls and almost 3 (by the 9th of April if not sooner). This pregnancy was a different father than my past two. He is from India, never spoke to me from the minute he knew other than....have an abortion. No matter how hard I KNEW this was going to be...I could NEVER have an abortion! So, pro-choice....NO! use a condom or birth control (I did!) and if you STILL get pregnant...meant to be! If you weren't using those things & you don't want your child. Give it up for adoption to a loving family that you CAN pick. Don't take away an innocent life...

It's wrong because it's essentially killing somebody, even though they're not born yet. It does essentially depend on the circumstances though.

Anyway, pro-choice is there because some women genuinely can't handle the thought of having a child, maybe it was unplanned/they were too young/conceived through rape or abuse/don't feel they can provide for the child adequately/ child could be ill and have no real quality of life....etc etc.

There are lots of reasons why women abort their child and some of them are justified, but not all. Some women see it as an easy fix, especially teenagers who don't think to take precautions. Of course there are reasons why abortion shouldn't be legal but there are also reasons why it should and in some cases abortion is the only answer and women really don't have choice but to go through with it. For example, if a woman found out her child would be born with a terminal illness and would have no real quality of life then you have to think of what would be best for the child; having it and seeing it go through pain knowing that the child will almost certainly die young or not having it and sparing all of the pain and heartache for both yourself and the child.

I think abortion should always be left up to the woman to decide for herself if it's right or wrong, but in certain circumstances. It is killing an innocent and shouldn't be used as a form of birth control.

Here are some ideas for your debate:
* In cases of rape
* In cases of incest
* In cases where the person is too young and the parent feels it's in their best interest to terminate the pregnancy
* In cases when the person who's pregnanct is mentally ill and unable to care for the child
* In cases where the pregnancy endangers the woman's health
* In complications where the child will live an unhealthy life

There are just some ideas I'm throwing out there.
Good luck w/ your debate.

Well, I'm against it, but I don't think it's wrong. In my opinion, a fetus/baby has the right to live, be born, and come to this world. Even though I'm his/her birth mother, I don't have the right to say that he or she doesn't deserve to live, be born, and come to this world. However, there are certain situations where people choose to have abortion. Mostly financial situation plays a big role in this. Also, age and career could have impact on having an abortion. I hope this will help you on your debate project.

I feel like abortion is wrong because you're killing a child. You're just as bad as those killing people outside of the womb. Why don't you look at some photos of babies that were aborted and maybe you'll get a good idea on why it's wrong. as well as look at information on abortion. Cutting a child into pieces is not right. I'm sure you wouldn't want someone coming into your home (which the womb is the baby's home) unexpectedly and cut you into pieces, tearing you apart to your death. killing a child is no excuse for someone's actions.

I could go on, but I'd rather just leave it at that.

Because you a killing an innocent child, that didn't ask to be here in the first place, and that somebody else would love to have. Just because you don't want a baby doesn't mean that you have the right to murder it. There are people in this world who for some reason or another can not have children. If you feel like you don't want your baby, that bless someone else with your baby.

women should not have a right to kill a human being!!!!
As soon as a child is at the very very start even as a tiny tiny tiny little thing when the 2 sperms meet or what ever
it is STILL HUMAN
& not a rat or a cat or chicken or what ever women think it is
its the START of a human & its murder to abort it
adopt it out if they dont want it not murder it
& it is murder no matter how you look at it

The pro-choice position isn't that abortion is okay, but that it's up to the pregnant woman to decide whether it's okay or not.
