Is this the one we can course change or am I thinking way ahead? Did any of you see that photo that Cassini took of Saturn's North Pole with the odd shaped hexagon weather pattern. I really appreciate the young people because they will have so much to explore.

You may be thinking of Ion propulsion, used on the Deep Space 1 mission.

Yes, saw the hexagonal storm earlier this week. Very interesting and unique. I would guess that it's the result of some sort of bizzarre resonance effect with a/some moon(s). But I havn no evidence for it. I really don't know what would cause it. I've seen the animations, and the storm is certainly very sturdy. Very odd indeed. Could it have something to do with hexagonal ammonia crystals forming extremely week, yet lasting, bonds in their molecular shape that are large enough to result in a giant hexagonal ammonia cloud?

(random guesses, lol)

Cassini's mission is 2/3 over. Hopefully, Cassini's mission will be extended (I don't see why it won't. Cassini is NASA's flagship of solar system exploration). We need a spacecraft at Saturn to observe how the system changes through the seasons, especially the Titanian north pole, which now has what many believe to be liquid lakes.

Cheers ^_^
