Anything except hip-hop, rap, house, etc. I just like music that actually sounds melodic instead of just a whole lot of senseless noise. I listen to everything from Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, The Grateful Dead, The Doors, Janis Joplin, to Coldplay, David Gray, Sheryl Crow, Queen, The Cure, The Eagles, Joss Stone, BB King, Muddy Waters, Aretha Franklin, Nat King Cole, Bob Marley & the Wailers, The Pretenders, Crowded House, Diane Krall, Eric Clapton, Mozart, Beethoven , Bach, Handel .... my music taste is very eclectic ... as Shakespeare said, "If music be the food of love, play on".

I personally appreciate lots of different types of music, If I look at my MP3 player I have soft romantic, through pop, Rock, Heavy metal and some music that could be considered light punk.
I guess that comes from my time as a DJ in years gone by, I had to have lots of different things to play, OK I may not have liked it all; after all there is only so much Agadoo and Birdie song you can listen to!
I would say that favourite music that people like are started during school years where you tend to like the music your friends like, that way you feel part of 'the group', but later on you tend to start appreciating some music that would previously be overlooked as not being 'cool'

Hip-Hop
Soul
R&B
Pop
Rock & Roll
Metal
Classical
R&B / Soul
World
Dance & Electronic
Soundtrack
Country
New Age & Relaxation
Comedy
-out of your list
my two favourite kinds are metal/non metal heavy music and really chilled choir, classical type music.
I usually get my kicks from movie and game soundtracks such as the Matrix, Star Wars, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts among others, not forgetting that trucking kind of rock like Free Bird and Slow Ride.
Generally I'm a collecter of music I don't restrict myself. I don't discriminate music-if I like how it sounds then I listen to it.
...and not forgetting Metallica the best band in the world especially the Kill/Ride/Justice/Master/Black/Garage/ and S&M.
YEAH! YEAH! YEAH! YEAH! YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAH YEH! HEY YOOOOOOOOOOOO because they have such passionate fans and facemelting music!

It is the most uplifting, joyful, happy, high-energy music you will ever listen to. Put it on on a rainy day and suddenly you feel like you could be on a beach partying somewhere

I wouldn't restrict myself to listening to one genre more than any other. If a song's good, I will enjoy it no matter what style. Saying that, not including outkast, I don't think I've heard an R&B track that I've ever enjoyed.

Always the blues, my friend.
The sum total of all modern music is based upon it. And it has SOUL, which is so important. =)
