Fluorescent light turns on computer when it is parked in Standby.?

I have a fluorscent desk light that is above my monitor, if the computer is in the standby mode and if I turn the light on first the computer will start. They are both plugged into the APC multi-plug outlet. Why ?

do you have a optical mouse? the light is possable it could be shining on the light! or it could be software or a hardware waking it up! like a optical mouse
