I have two computers connected to one with a router, the "host" computer has limited or no connectivity, when I click on repair it says "cannot renew ip"
(the other computers still work fine)
I think that the problem is that someone must have used run: command and may have accidently deleted some prompts when using ping, because when I went to it, it had about a minute delay and had an error, is there a way to restore the prompts that were originally there?
it was working fine yesterday)

Several possibilities:

-Check your firewall settings
-Check your connection settings for the connection (right click on the connection>properties>General tab>TCP/IP>Properties>check the circle for "Obtain IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically"
-Clear your ARP cache--Start>run>arp -d
