** the deja vu hasn't been about any big things; it'll be of me saying something to someone, or doing something, simple things like that ...

The term déjà vu is French and means, literally, "already seen." Those who have experienced the feeling describe it as an overwhelming sense of familiarity with something that shouldn't be familiar at all.

Web definition for Daja vu-
Feeling as if one has lived through or experienced this moment before; may occur in people without any medical problems or immediately before a seizure (ie, as a simple partial seizure).

A Theory on the Deja Vu Phenomenon
A physiological explanation of the deja vu phenomenon may exist. The optical and neural paths from the two eyes may be slightly different, or the processing of such signals might be delayed in one path due to some variant structure. Or, alternately, a "newer" and "older" brain processing method might be responsible.

For many years, psychologists have known of the phenomenon of Deja Vu, where a patient is absolutely convinced that a first visit to an area seemed like a place already familiar and known. (Deja vu is different from various similar phenomena such as Precognition [where a person has a premonition of some future event] or Clarivoyance [where a person comes to know about some simultaneous event a long distance away] or assorted other unusual phenomena. Modern science does not have adequate explanations for ANY of these apparent phenomena.

Deja vu is when you see something and one part of your brain receives the information a split second before the other part so it seems like you are seeing it again... even though you really aren't, and it's just your brain fooling you. I used to get deja vu all the time also, but not too much recently, I think you go through phases where it will happen a lot and then not much, but it's perfectly normal and there should be nothing to worry about.

Deja vu is usually a warning, to prevent something bad from happening. If you pay attention to it, it will help you out by showing you what the possible scenario will be if you do something. For example, if you have deja vu that has you bringing something home and your mom kicking you out about it, then chances are bringing it home is NOT a goo idea.

Deja Vu is a french term that means "already seen". Being a psychology student, your brain is constantly trying to categorize everything. We call it "bottom-up processing". This means that your brain tries to make sense of things by using past knowledge. You may not be aware when this happens. It is an automatic mechanism. Hence, u get the feeling of confusion and repetitiveness. Hope this answers your question.

it just means that for some reason you feel like you have been there before like from a dream or possibly a different life you had or possibly when we die we start off our life from the beginning again so sometimes now and again we remember something that happend n it gives us a little flashback or it could be just a sixth sense there are many arguments to what deja vu is but they are the main ones i studied it in college creepy isnt it!

Deja Vu is a feeling that you've been to the same place before.
Example: Gee this place seems very familar like I've been here before but can't remember when.

Thats's the best way I can explain it! Hope this helps!

this may result from an overlap between the neurological systems responsible for short-term memory (events which are perceived as being in the present) and those responsible for long-term memory (events which are perceived as being in the past). Many theorists believe that the memory anomaly occurs when one's conscious mind has a slight delay in receiving perceptive input. In other words, the unconscious mind perceives current surroundings before the conscious mind does. This causes one's conscious self to perceive something that is already in one's memory, even though it was in one's memory only a split second before it was perceived.
