I recently downloaded software that lets me create text-based RPG's. The only problem: I don't know how to create the script. I checked the "help" section, but it only tells me how to get something started, like "OnEnter" or "OnPickup." It doesn't tell me what comes after. Are there any websites that provide a list of possible commands for text-based RPG creation?

Well it really depends on the game and software that you downloaded. I can give you a scripting tutorial for an RPG game like Neverwinter Nights and I am not sure if that would help you. Often times the scripting is custom to the game engine you are using and the syntax is almost up to the complete discretion of the designers of the game.

I have included a few types of scripting tutorials for some various games/environments and just maybe you can see some similarities or something.

Its the best we can do without knowing the RPG game itself.

Good luck!
