Me ,my girlfriend ,and my 5 month old baby are supposed to visit my girlfriends aunt on monday.Apparently she was diagnosed with walking pneumonia. She insists she is not contagious though
I am not that familiar with pneumonia and was wondering if there would be any danger of us cathing something from her i am mainly worried about the baby since he has just gotten over a cold himself.

There are certain types of pneumonia that you can get from others, but most often it is not a passable illness.
However, since you have a small child that recently was ill, it might not be a good idea to take him/her. The best way to find out would be to call your childs doctor and ask him/her what they think would be best.
They are the only ones that are best at letting you know which pneumonia is not contagious.

Doctors say no. But, I want them to explain to me why when my brother and I were staying with our dad and he had pneumonia. We were both diagnosed with it too.
