I start a new job in the morning and have no clue what to wear. The only thing we cannot wear are jeans. When I went in for the interview one of the girls had on capris and flip flops. Would it be okay to wear pants and sandals? Or wold that look stupid?

A pair of khakis, flip flops/wedges,a cute blouse/t-shirt, and a bracelet would look good. Make sure that you do you're hair good for the first day too. Good Luck!

For the first day I wouldn't, at least not with wearing flip flops. A cute pair of capris (if that's acceptable for your job) with cute flats. I don't know what type of job you are working at or it's dress code (you might want to ask, trust me that's never frowned on). If you can wear sandals I agree don't wear the flip flop/thong style, go a bit more up-scaled with your sandals if you can wear them. Good luck at the new job!

It's sort of known that "flip-flops" aren't good business attire. Of course, I have no idea what the job is though. Personally, I think sandals are fine, but I wouldn't go with the "thong" style....just to be safe.

i think you should wear a cute haltar top with some bermudas ... try to find a matching halter top with matching bermudas and with a white tank top under that. and some high heels. and if you dont like high heels then flats would work well. :-)

good luck with the job interview
