Try phoning and e-mailing each other. Also, you could divide up the work, or talk to your teacher, maybe he/she will let you take some class time to work on it. Good Luck!

April 4th.... okay... take a DEEP breath.... did you? Okay...

now keep your kewl =)

Firstly... have you agreed what you are going to do your project on? Like the topic?

Once you have a topic.... decide what you are going to do and want to include.

It may help to come up with an outline... you can do this very easily by e-mailing back and forth, or over the phone...

Next...'split' up the parts of the outline... so that you do such and such... and she does such and such... try to break it up as evenly as possible so that no one person is carrying the who burden/weight of the project....

Next do your research or whatever... and if you come into any problems.... you have each other to talk to... and try to work through the problems coming up with a solution... or perhaps agreeing about 'tweaking' your outline... adding extra things to replace.... or eliminating things off you list.... and feel free to during the next week to be flexible in changing and adding and removing things...

The important thing is communication between the two of you. You can make this work despite the distance...

Does she have a computer like you to e-mail or a phone she can use to reach you? (I know you have a computer because you asked this question =) )...

I think to make this work though... you should try to get together over the weekend... is that possible? This way you can plan... put together... your project. If not... then you can 'rehearse' over the phone... if this is a presentation project being done in front of the class...

hope this helps....

Remember,.... you can accomplish even this... despite the distance. Good luck... and remember to 'breathe'. This is not a lost cause, just because it's too late to switch partners and you both can't get together after school. (BTW.... what about 'before' school... or during recess or lunch..."... do you both have 'other classes' together?

try getting some work done during your lunch if you two have it together.

Ask can ride home with you on friday evening and spend the night the weekend and go back to school with you on Monday. That way you have the whole weekend to get a lot of work done!!

Good Luck

Have you thought about getting together via a chat room. Provided you both have online computers. You could converse and pass shared files between you.
