You are not supposed to LOSE weight, you are supposed to GAIN it. I really hope your baby is healthy when you give birth. Now is not the time to worry about your weight.

I'm 27 years old and 38 weeks pregnant and also pretty dang overweight myself. Don't listen to those that tell you that losing weight while pregnant is harmful to the baby. I've lost 25 pounds during my entire pregnancy and have only recently starting gaining about a pound every two weeks. I started showing around 4 -5 months and I'm really showing now. Just remember to continue to eat healthy and take your prenatal vitamins. Discuss the weight loss with your doctor. I ask mine everytime I go in just because I'm worried that it might have caused problems. He said that MANY overweight women will lose weight during pregnancy rather than gain it. As long as you are eating healthy and not "dieting" you should be fine.

Good luck to you!

I'm 5'7", 181 lbs prepregnancy (174 now), this is my frist pregnancy and I'm 18...and I started showing at 13 weeks. Not where it's extremely obvious, but where if someone looks at me they can see the bump...but it could still be mistaken for fat. There just aren't any rolls and it is had on the top and middle, still squishy on the bottom. It really is different for everyone. I think I'll be pretty dang obvious in the next 4 or so weeks.

You will start growing more very soon. You are at the point now where your baby is starting to grow more and the baby will start putting on more weight. My advice though, is to make sure that you continue eating healthy and don't try to gain extra weight just so that you will show! You will show I promise!!

Try very hard to keep your weight at around 165... then work on it again after the baby. You are only 16... you want to keep your figure and energy up for that baby. You may not show too much until the 8th and 9th month if you stay at this weight. good luck to you.

Keep eating those Twinkies and you will start to see some shape. You will probably start to show around month 4 or 5.
