I currently run my laptop with the battery still inside my laptop and have it plugged into the wall with my ac adapter. Will that hurt my battery if I keep doing this? What would you suggest I should do? I don't want to waste my laptop battery. Should I take the battery out? My battery says thats its fully charged so will that overheat the battery or is it okay to keep inside my laptop?

On my laptop right now it shows the battery icon lit up as green meaning that its charged so im guessing it just shuts off afterwards? In the manual it doesnt really say anything about taking the battery out and just using the ac plug.

Your adapter has a life span. Meaning the more it is used the sooner you will have to replace it. Just unplug it from the wall outlet when not in use for hours at a time. If you seldom use the battery power, remove it and only install it when needed or needs recharging.

You shouldn't keep your AC Adapter plugged in for a very long time if your battery is charged and in your computer. It can do damage to your battery. My suggestion is charge the battery until it's full, then let it run on battery, until it needs to be charged again. It's okay to have it charging while the computer's off. But when you buy a brand new battery, it's best not to use that battery until you charge it for 24 hours straight.

Laptops are made to be plugged in, mostly because the batteries are a joke to use. It wont hurt the battery. After being charged, the charging is turned off
