I'll tell you what *I* wish. I wish *good*, innovative & creative hip hop/rap would come back AND rock would get more attention than it does. (But lord- No return of 80s hair metal!)
All is not lost though. I've read recently that hip hop is on the decline.
Be great if we could have the best of both worlds & ban crap like Paris, Hilary Duff, Lohan, Britney, Ashlee & Jessica & all future boybands.

rap/hip-hop has been popular for a long time and hard rock hasn't exactly faded out-their just hasn't been any real good bands that have hit it big. i personally like both. i wish more rock related music would come out-if their good and worth listening to that is.

Yes man I totally agree with you. But the only way for this to happen is Kurt Cobain and Layne Stanely were still alive or If Soundgarden and Stone Temple Pilots got back together !!!!!!

Oh my God! do I EVER! wish it would fade out! I can't stand it myself either, and I have room mates that play that CRAP all the time. I have to drown them out with some rock music. LOL
