What year was the play Romeo and juliet set in? And what where the first names of Juliets parents?
There is no one right answer to either of these questions. There nothing in Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" that tells what year the play was set in or that gives the first names of Juliet's parents. This is not a historical play. It is pure fiction and Shakespeare simply did not give us those details. Every production's director and actors has to decide those details for themselves.

Thats the best I have - Sorry.
