ok i met this guy at a party and we have been txting ever since. he is sweet and all but he asked me if i wanted to do something like go 2 movies or something like that. i said yes but he also asked where we stood (in way of relationship) and i do like him but only as a friend ( i believe we don't know each other that well yet) i am really nervous but i don't know what to do or say please help if you have any ideas

Be honest. Even if he doesn't necessarily like your answer, you should be honest.
Tell him that you two don't really know each other very much as it is, so as of now you consider you two friends.
Good Luck and Have fun. If you end up on not being comfortable with going out by yourselves right now, you could also see if he wanted the movies to be like a double date type of activity. (Just to be safe since you dont know him very well)

Ok, let's just make sure we understand something:
This boy wants to have sex with you. He probably is sweet but the hormones in his body severely affect his good judgment. If you like him, tell him you'll go out with him but that you're not doing anything more than holding hands and if he can't handle that he can go out with someone else.
When you are dating boys in high school or junior high -
YOU ARE IN CHARGE. If they don't like that, they can go away.
You don't have to be rude or unpleasant when you tell them this. Say it gently but firmly. If guys see you demand respect they will either respect you or go away.
Above all else, your comfort is more important than their raging hormones.
Any man who doesn't treat you with respect is not worthy of your time or consideration.
