Im not sure if its marble, limestone or granite.... Im not a rock person lol... thanks

You should not use any acid. Limestone absorbs stains easily because it is porous. Try baking soda/water and or a clearer such as Ajax or Comet first. The mild abrasive will remove most stains.Use a sponge.

Don't put any acid type cleaners on marble, it will damage the finish. I have a better safer cleaner for you to use.Marble table-top stains

Sprinkle salt on a fresh-cut lemon. Rub very lightly over stain. Do not rub hard or you will ruin the polished surface. Wash off with soap and water.
Scour with a water and baking soda paste. Let stand for a few minutes before rinsing with warm water.

no dont use acid it can ruin the finish, sprinkle bi carb over the table top and spray with vinegar, when is fizzes scrub with a very soft brush and then clean of with water.
