Beats the heck and all out of me. We have a big ole 2 story house and it is dusty all the time. I could not dust enough to keep it clean. But, if you have wood items use a good polish, it keeps the dust away longer? Don't ask me why it just works. And you really don't want to know what's in the dust. Believe me.

Air filters need to be cleaned and replaced on time and I would also check the seals around your windows. Sometimes gaps in your windows can allow dust and debris in.

Someone on y/a told me that if you had a piece of ductwork loose, that would draw dust in from spaces and blow it out in the rooms. I have the same problem. Need to get the ductwork cleaned and checked(i can't afford it myself)
