I sent a letter from my tuaren to my blood elf about 40 mins ago. Im worried cause I sent several letters and they contained 50 gold over 300 linen cloth and i am waiting and the letters still havent come. I typed in the right name in and well how long does it take to send a letter to another char on the same account

Regular letters (with no items), or letter with gold (and no items) sent instantly. At most there's a 5 minute delay.
For letter with items (such as the cloth), the turn-around is an hour.

No. In World of Warcraft, all postage takes exactly 1 hour. There is an exception to this though. If you send money by itself, and I mean no message, no items attached, then it arrives immediately. If you didn't type a message with the gold, or attached an item, you should have gotten it already.

This is very common and the answer (as most answers are for WoW) is lag. The server is just running slow. Sometimes the mail gets broken, if you don't get it in 24 hours report it to a GM. They can usually get your stuff back.

If you send items with it it may take up to 2 hours. If it takes much longer than that simply inform a GM and they can assist you.
