Mold must have moisture to grow, and moisture dries up, even if it is slowly, when light hits it. Also, warm places tend to gather more humidity than cold places.

molds dont really care if it's dark or bright, cold or warm..
what they need for survival is something (like a food) that they can grow on and anchor themselves on to it and get the nutrients..

yes. the UV rays from the sun helps get rid of mold. but im not sure about warm or hot places.

dark and warm.....humidity makes water and thats whats makes mold to start with no sunlight and no air is the best way to get it
