yea, I would. Reyes gets you a lot of steals, and thats an easy category to win in you have a fast guy. Im not sure who will jack more longballs Wright or Hafner. Id do the trade though...

Since all the players are well above average, I guess it depends on what you think your gains are

Hafner: BA+, Runs, RBI+, HR+
Reyes: SB+, Runs+, BA,HR

Utley: HR+,RBI+,SB, Runs,BA
Wright:HR, RBI+,SB+,Runs,BA

+ means greater than normal for the fielding position

I think the Utley Wright combo is better because they fill every category, in any given week. But Reyes is a premier SB guy that could carry you. All these guys are 25-29 years old - so they are getting better or at their peak.

I think you get more RBIs with Utley Wright than Reyes Hafner.
Utley and Wright could steal 30 bases between them. Furcal is 30 SB guy with 10 HRs. so the SBs are nearly a wash - assuming Reyes gets 60 again.

Glaus is a .250-.260 hitter usually. He's 31, and is due for a decline and has had injuries. Howie Kendrick is a unknown commodity. Loading up on power with lower BA (Dunn, Hafner, Glaus) instead of keeping well rounded types (Wright, Furcal, Utley) is up to you, but can you win weekly matchups with the later, I think so.

I wouldn't trade - but it is not a bad deal either.

NO! Jose olny bats in the 270's at times and give you nothing but SB's and a low average. Chase Utley is a amazing player, batting above .300 and over 30 HR's and leading the league in HRS and Doubles......But, travis hanfer is probably the mostu nderrate d player in the game but giving up David Wright, the future Mets Captain who made the cover of MLB 07 the show isnt worth it. David Wright hits above 300, hits some dingers, and gives you rbis. You cant trade both of them, I see the trade as just trading two for one, Jose Reyes wont be worth anything but bases. Keep youre players! But, you really do lack HR's and RBIS but trading those two players are a no-no.

No, Utley and Wright will give you more HRs and RBIs collectively than Hafner and Reyes. You have to think Utley and Wright will get about 20 bags each, so is it really worth it to trade more HRs and RBIs for an extra 20 bags? I dont think so.

Who is howie kendrick!!?!?!?!? You need Hafner at Utility and i mean YOU NEED HIM BADLY!!!! Seriously if you can pick up another 2b but yeah reyes is better than wright so i wouldnt worry about it because reyes will get more hits, rbis, and sbs and almost as much home runs!!!

Dang, this is a very tough question indeed. I say don't make the trade. 2B is by far the shallowest position. Utley is clearly the number one player at that position, and from there it's a drop-off. Kendrick is a gamble.

Ouch... you do lack HR/RBI, what the deuce were you doing in the first 4 rounds of your draft? You'd be a fool to trade utley, he's the best player on your roster
