It is obvious, and we dont need a study to prove it. Listen to Bush talk for a few minutes, he is unable to communicate a complete and rational thought. This is what attracts so many republicans to him - they cannot relate to much more than that due to lower IQ's. Its like the blind leading the blind.....

The average IQ of a Democrat is 103, the average of a Republican is 96, which tells me that the polls that I found are ALL WRONG because the average IQ of an American is 108. Given that the Average IQ of the total should fall between the average of the two groups that make up the vast majority, something is awry. BTW, the ONLY reason Deamoncraps are higher, is that the vast majority of all Lawyers are deamoncraps. Take THEM out of the equation, and the tables turn the OTHER way....

I googled the "National Institute of Intellectual Studies" and didn't find a thing. So, I'm thinking that dems like to puff themselves up by making up studies and Nation Institutes so they can feel good about themselves because, Lord knows, they're gonna need it when their "get out of Iraq now" idea goes awry and they are pasted with the Vietnam "loser"label and loose the 2008 and beyond presidential elections. But hey, whatever floats your boat.

That's just one study. There are smart people and idiots on both sides. And, where did they get their sampling? Age bracket? Education level? How many people - 100 or 10,000? It all makes a difference.

Of course. Democrats represent the of USA: the smart, free-thinking, educated, sophisticated and beautiful people. It`s so obvious.
Republicans are nothing but trash.

Bogus.
I'm a left leaning Moderate Dem and I give it exactly zero credibility.
I know many Repubs who are intelligent, thoughtful, articulate and highly educated. Otherwise I wouldn't keep their company.

If one goes according to some of the questions and answers here, definitely true.
Although in general, it is probably not.

I think it depends on the person. I have met stupid and smart people on both sides. Take Chuck Hagel, for example, he is a smart Republican.
