How come I haven't gotten my period yet (i'm 14), but I'm not a late developer? (everything else except my full has taken place)

everyone's periods come at different stages, i was a late developer and got mine at a pretty normal time, so it doesn't really matter how fast everything else happened. but trust me, ur LUCKY!!!!!!!!!! it is HELL....sry if i just scared u, but u'll see what i mean.....

Like all the ladies above said you're lucky it's just another month you don't have to live in pain!
However the physical reason you haven't gotten your period yet is because you don't have enough body fat. Now don't go to McDonalds cause you think it will help you. Every single woman needs a certain percentage of body fat in order to have a period. Supermodels that are too thin typically don't menstrate because they don't have enough body fat. They got their original period, but it's by far from normal. A lot of the girls at your school who have developed are that way because there is a significant amount of body fat.
Trust me in 10 years you're going to think how fortunate you were that you didn't get it in elementary school. Don't let other girls be your gage to what's normal.

Yes, these guys are right. You have nothing to worry about, and what's so good about having bad moods, spots and pain every month anyway? You are not missing anything. It will arrive soon enough, and then you, along with 3 billion other women, will hate it .

Every females body develops different just b/c u haven't gotten your period doesnt mean anything....Dont rush it be happy n patient it will come believe me

Stop worrying.Some girls do not get their periods until they are 16 17 or 18.Think yourself fortunate that you have not started just yet.If you are concerned talk your mum or a school nurse or someone you can trust.

Don't worry...it will come. I didn't start until I was 18. Believe me, you're not missing anything.
