Sure, why not? You can call it a trade in if you want to use it toward the purchase of the Elite, or you can sell it and use that money towards the purchase of the Elite. Doesn't make a difference because it will be worth the same amount.

You can exchange it at a gamestop store near you for the Elite just pay the difference.Make sure you have the Hard Drive and wireless controller so you pay the difference price cheaper.go to gamestop.com and store locater at the top of the page

you would have to bring it in to a game store that buy used stuff but you will have to buy the new system from them. you might want to try to sell it your self you might get more money for it.
